Product Development
Development Samples
To assist you with your own commercial product development we are pleased to supply up to 4 samples of our standard aromas free-of-charge – these can be requested via the Enquiry Form on this web-site.
Samples are made in our new flavour laboratory (opened November 2017) under the strictest controls and precision by our team of technicians. Development samples are made and shipped out in two working days from enquiry receipt.
Our experience is that it is very difficult to objectively assess more than 4 different aromas on a single enquiry. However, after initial feedback and commercial discussion we could agree to a more extensive sampling and development program.
Sensory Evaluation
We have researched objective methods of sensory evaluation of vaping aromas and are pleased to work with our clients or provide training on the development of systematic evaluation techniques.
Our method is simple to follow, yet eliminates subjective and environmental variables, for consistent appraisals.
The double-blind method provides a systematic way of assessing vaping panel scores, and can be used to assess similarity to a controlled target, or alternatively used for scoring degrees of consumer preference.

New Product Creation
We offer a development service (subject to commercial feasibility). Our resources include Flavour Technicians and an Analytical team. We also use the external resources of third-party Vaping Consultancy and specialist GCMS analytical laboratory.
We create unique signature aromas; re-engineered compliant alternatives to non-compliant origins; or we work with our clients’ own experts to develop distinctively successful recipe combinations.
Development from scratch is costly, so our standard aromas have a compatible solvent system for easy homogenous blending of unique combinations. Any three, blended in any proportion, can create an opportunity for a multitude of exclusive recipes (see the Downloads section for information).
Precision & Control
Our trained and skilled operatives provide you with dependable, consistent and controlled precision, from our Laboratory and Factory.
Formulations are specialized for vaping and controlled by a rigid Technical Database. Controls cover the permissions and levels of use of each risk-assessed substance to a level of 0.01% of any formulation.
Quantities are controlled to 0.1g and checked by the compounder, and a second qualified person, and recorded. Critical measuring equipment is externally calibrated. After QC analysis a sample is retained of each batch.
Risks of cross-contamination are eliminated by HACCP & GMP certified manufacturer using USP solvents.
Documentation & Disclosure
Our aromas are the subject of a detailed issue-controlled Technical Specification forwarded to you for confirmation with each order.
Subject to non-disclosure agreement, an expanded specification lists every substance used in weight order, with the relevant chemical references.
This is supported by a Hazard Assessment Report listing the substances, in the quantity present (to the sixth decimal place) and the CLP hazard status of each substance.
